Frequently Asked Questions

How do we get there?

  • The DC Area has three airports. We recommend flying into Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) or Reagan National Airport (DCA), both airports are approximately 30-40 minutes from the hotel block. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the furthest away, approx. 50-60 minutes. 

  • The Acela and North East Regional Amtrak trains are also a great option if you are coming from the North East.

 

Where should we stay?

 

Who is invited to the Welcome Party?

  • All of our guests are invited to attend the Welcome Party. The party will take place on Friday the Sixteenth of January at the Sulgrave Club in Washington, DC and will begin at 8:30 PM. Please indicate on your RSVP Card or when you RSVP through the website if you plan to attend the Welcome Party.

 

Will there be transportation to the Welcome Party? 

  • Yes, transportation will be provided for hotel guests from the Marriott Bethesda Downtown to the welcome party as well as from the party back to Marriott Bethesda Downtown at the end of the night. Exact timing to be determined. Please refer to the Transportation Page for more information about transportation. 

 

What is the date and time of the wedding?

  • The wedding will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Washington, DC. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. 

 

Will there be transportation to the ceremony? 

  • Yes, transportation will be provided for hotel guests from the Marriott Bethesda Downtown to the ceremony. Exact timing to be determined. Please refer to the Transportation Page for more information about transportation. 

 

Will there be transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

  • Yes, transportation will be provided for all guests from the wedding ceremony to the reception. Please refer to the Transportation Page for more information about transportation. 

 

Will there be transportation after the reception?

  • Yes, transportation will be provided for hotel guests from the reception back to the Marriott Bethesda Downtown. Please refer to the Transportation Page for more information about transportation. 

Am I allowed to bring an additional plus-one or children to the wedding weekend events?

  • Due to space constraints we are not able to accommodate additional plus-ones or children at our wedding. We kindly ask that only the guests whose names appear on the invitation attend the wedding events.
