Frequently Asked Questions

​Will there be transportation to the Welcome Party? 

  • Transportation from the Marriott Bethesda Downtown to the Welcome Party is scheduled for 7:45pm

  • End of night transportation from the Welcome Party to the Marriott Bethesda Downtown is scheduled for 10:30pm

 

What is the date and time of the wedding?

  • The wedding will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Washington, DC. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM please arrive at the church no later than 4:30 PM

 

Will there be transportation to the ceremony? 

  • Transportation from the Marriott Bethesda Downtown to the ceremony is scheduled for 3:30pm

 

Will there be transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

  • All guests are invited to take the bus from the ceremony to the Chevy Chase Club

  • Transportation from the ceremony is scheduled for 5:45pm

 

Will there be transportation after the reception?

  • Transportation from the reception to the Marriott Bethesda Downtown is scheduled for 11:45pm​​

What is the Welcome Party attire?

  • We ask that our guests please wear cocktail attire to the Welcome Party. For women, a knee-length, tea-length, or midi-length dress or skirt are recommended. For men, a coat and tie are required. Please note jeans and sneakers are not permitted.

What is the Wedding Reception attire?

  • The Reception is black tie. Men are asked to please wear a tuxedo. Women are asked to please wear a floor-length or tea-length dress.

Am I allowed to bring an additional plus-one or children to the wedding weekend events?

  • Due to space constraints we are not able to accommodate additional plus-ones or children at our wedding. We kindly ask that only the guests whose names appear on the invitation attend the wedding events. 

​

How do we get there?

  • The DC Area has three airports. We recommend flying into Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) or Reagan National Airport (DCA), both airports are approximately 30-40 minutes from the hotel block. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the furthest away, approx. 50-60 minutes. 

  • The Acela and North East Regional Amtrak trains are also a great option if you are coming from the North East.

Who is invited to the Welcome Party?

  • All of our guests are invited to attend the Welcome Party. The party will take place on Friday the Sixteenth of January at the Sulgrave Club in Washington, DC and will begin at 8:30 PM. Please indicate on your RSVP Card or when you RSVP through the website if you plan to attend the Welcome Party.
